A Warehouse Manager

oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while managing staff, inventory accuracy, budget, and strict adherence to safety/security protocols to meet productivity goals and maintain supply chain flow

Key duties include leading teams, optimizing layouts, managing WMS, coordinating with transport, and generating performance reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Directing daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruiting, training, scheduling, motivating, and appraising warehouse personnel.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, conducting counts, reconciling data, and managing stock security.
  • Safety & Compliance: Developing and enforcing health, safety, and security programs, plus regulatory adherence.
  • Efficiency & Optimization: Improving layout, workflows, equipment use (like forklifts), and overall space utilization.
