Job summary

Groz-Beckert is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Singapore to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment. You will handle container loading/unloading and strive for accurate records while maintaining a tidy, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of relevant warehouse experience, can lift up to 25 kg, and are proficient with Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 kg.
• SAP experience is advantageous but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee goods receiving, picking, verifying, packing, and palletizing to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate container loading/unloading and proper handling of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Review and adjust picking lists to address low stock and prevent delays.
• Analyze stock discrepancies in inbound shipments and report findings.
• Identify and correct misplaced stock to maintain warehouse order.
• Adhere to safety, security, and operational policies.

Job objective

We are seeking for an ideal Warehouse Assistant that will support our warehouse day to day operations, including inventory management, order processing, and equipment operation, ensuring the efficient handling of goods and materials within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform goods receiving, picking, verifying, packing, and palletizing of shipments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate and execute container loading and unloading activities, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and investigations into stock discrepancies.
• Review and adjust picking lists to address low stock quantities and prevent order delays.
• Analyze and resolve stock discrepancies in inbound shipments, ensuring accurate records and reporting.
• Identify and correct misplaced stock items to maintain optimal warehouse organization.
• Comply with all safety, security and operational policies and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the team and operations.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level qualification.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience is required within similar warehouse capacity.
• Candidates eager to learn and grow in a warehouse environment are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including handling items weighing up to 25kg time to time.
• Candidates who have experience with SAP is advantageous but not must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suits, particularly Excel for data entry.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri : 8.30am - 5.30pm.
