Job summary

INITIA GROUP in Singapore seeks a Warehouse Assistant / Driver to support daily warehouse, logistics, and delivery operations for its F&B and lifestyle outlets. You will receive, store, pick, pack, and deliver goods while maintaining accurate inventories and a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will also handle deliveries to outlets, collect goods from suppliers, and assist with new outlet openings and logistics tasks.

Qualifications

• Secondary School / High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A driving license.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery operations is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in F&B, retail, warehouse, or logistics operations is an advantage.
• Able to handle manual handling tasks and physical work.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming goods to ensure accuracy and proper storage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery to outlets.
• Load and unload goods safely and ensure proper handling during transportation.
• Deliver goods to INITIA Group outlets and designated locations.
• Collect goods from suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
• Verify delivery quantities and obtain acknowledgments or signatures.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
• Support new outlet openings and logistics tasks as needed.

JOB SUMMARY/ JOB OVERVIEW :

The Warehouse Assistant / Driver supports the daily warehouse, logistics, and delivery operations of INITIA Group’s F&B and lifestyle outlets in Singapore. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and delivering goods while ensuring proper inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. The successful candidate will also handle deliveries and collections from suppliers, support new outlet openings, and assist the Procurement and Operations teams with logistics requirements to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming goods and deliveries to ensure accuracy and proper storage.

• Pick, pack, and prepare goods, ingredients, equipment, and other items for delivery to outlets.

• Load and unload goods safely and ensure proper handling during transportation.

• Arrange and maintain proper storage of inventory to ensure efficient warehouse organization.

• Assist with stock counting, inventory checks, and monitoring of warehouse supplies.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.

• Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or defective items to the relevant supervisor.

• Deliver goods, ingredients, equipment, and other materials to INITIA Group outlets and designated locations.

• Collect goods and materials from suppliers and ensure timely delivery to the required locations.

• Verify delivery quantities and obtain acknowledgements or signatures when required.

• Ensure goods are handled, stored, and transported safely to minimize damage or loss.

• Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and good working condition and report any vehicle issues promptly.

• Comply with Singapore traffic laws and road safety regulations.

• Support new outlet openings and outlet operations through deliveries and other logistics arrangements.

• Assist the Procurement and Operations teams with ad-hoc warehouse, delivery, and logistics tasks.

• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Warehouse / Procurement Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Secondary School / High School graduate or equivalent.

• Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A driving license.

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery operations is preferred but not essential.

• Experience in F&B, retail, warehouse, or logistics operations is an advantage.

• Able to handle manual handling tasks, including lifting, loading, and unloading goods, where required by the job.

• Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes.

• Able to communicate in English for work-related instructions, delivery coordination, and basic documentation. Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage where required for supplier or outlet communication.

• Forklift license is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment maintenance or minor troubleshooting is an advantage.

• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Willing to work flexible hours when required to support deliveries and outlet operations.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

• Accurate and efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of warehouse goods.

• Proper inventory organization and accurate stock counts.

• Timely and accurate deliveries and collections between suppliers, the warehouse, and INITIA Group outlets.

• Safe handling and transportation of goods, minimizing damage, loss, and delivery discrepancies.

• Maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Proper maintenance and upkeep of the assigned delivery vehicle.

• Reliable logistics support for outlet operations and new outlet openings.

• Effective coordination with Procurement, Operations, and outlet teams to fulfill daily logistics requirements.

• Timely completion of assigned warehouse, delivery, and logistics tasks.
