Job summary

Metro Builders Pte Ltd is seeking a Store/Materials Clerk in Singapore to receive, check, and organise materials and tools for site teams while maintaining storage and inventory records. Training will be provided; basic computer knowledge is an advantage. You will work 5.5 days per week, with standard hours and potential for extra duties as needed.

The role emphasizes safe handling, teamwork, and the ability to work independently to support ongoing construction projects.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and organise incoming materials, tools and equipment.
• Issue materials and tools to workers/site teams as required.
• Maintain proper storage and organisation of materials in the store.
• Keep simple records of incoming and outgoing stock.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
• Prepare materials and tools for upcoming projects/site works.
• Check returned tools and equipment and ensure they are properly stored.
• Coordinate with office, factory and site personnel on material requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store area.
• Perform other general store and operational duties as assigned.
