Job summary

Legrand in Singapore is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to support inventory management, put-away, and distribution to production cells. You will navigate the warehouse using the current business system and ensure accurate stock movements.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and familiarity with stockroom procedures. Forklift certification is preferred, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• GCE O level, SPM or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Regular standing, walking, and climbing ladders during shifts.
• Experience in stockroom or warehouse preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to join the Power & Thermal Management division in Singapore. This position is responsible for inventory management, put away and distribution to the production cells for assembly.

Responsibilities

• Locate and transact items in the Warehouse using Current Business System correctly.
• Locate parts by part number while moving throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain warehouse by keeping aisles clear of debris and putting material away.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance including making spaces for incoming freight with material handling equipment.
• Maintains inventory accuracy by cycle counting, adjusting quantities when necessary and doing root cause analysis.
• Adhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices
• Cross training to work in other functional department of the plant
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education: GCE O level, SPM or equivalent

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally; ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs often.
• Stockroom setting with material handling equipment in use and limited exposure to environmental conditions.
• Regularly standing, walking, climbing ladders for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds for extended period of time.
• Work with personal safety equipment such as safety harness, safety glasses, and hearing protection when necessary.
• This position requires standing and bending over for 95% of the shift.
• Similar warehouse experience preferred
• Valid Forklift certification preferred
