Job summary

Jamiyah Singapore is seeking staff to manage food inventory and warehouse operations for Jamiyah FoodBank in Singapore. You will coordinate deliveries, maintain stock records, and ensure efficient warehouse workflow in a multicultural environment.

Role involves loading/unloading, stock checks, and supporting events with cargo transport and logistics. Some after-hours or weekend work may be required during events.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Minimum secondary or O-level education.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage stress with attention to detail.
• Systematic and organized approach to administrative work.
• Willingness to work after hours or on weekends during events.

Responsibilities

• Execute inbound and outbound processing of food items to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries to maintain accurate inventory records
• Load, unload, pack, sort, and rack food items efficiently within the warehouse
• Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure timely availability of food supplies for distribution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible warehouse to support operational efficiency
• Escort Food Bank trucks during collection and delivery of food items to donors, sponsors, and beneficiaries
• Assist in transporting items and equipment to event locations as required
• Conduct stock-taking and support administrative tasks to maintain accurate records
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned to support team and operational needs

• Systematic and organized approach to administrative work
• Flexibility to work after office hours or on weekends during event periods
• Applicants with class 3 license preferred but without maybe considered.
