Job summary

Swagatham Global Connect invites applications for a CNC Turning/Lathe Operator cum Programmer in Singapore. You will operate and set up CNC turning machines, edit and create CNC programs, and read engineering drawings to ensure precision components for aerospace and precision engineering sectors.

The role requires fluent English, proven CNC programming skills (FANUC and Mastercam 2D preferred), and the ability to work independently with high accuracy in a fully air-conditioned factory

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC Turning/Lathe operations is mandatory.
• CNC programming skills (FANUC and Mastercam 2D) are preferred.
• Fluent English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning / lathe machines independently.
• Set up CNC turning machines according to production requirements.
• Create, edit, and modify CNC programs as required.
• Perform CNC turning operations for precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and part drawings.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters.
• Measure finished components using vernier calipers and precision measuring instruments.
• Check dimensions and ensure components meet required specifications.
• Perform machine setup, tool changes, and necessary adjustments.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Maintain production quality, accuracy, and productivity.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: SGD 1,400 per month
• Accommodation Allowance: SGD 200 per month
• Transportation Allowance: SGD 80 per month
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x rate
• Rest Days: 8 days per month

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience in CNC Turning / Lathe operations is mandatory.
• Ability to independently operate CNC turning machines.
• CNC programming experience is mandatory.
• Ability to create, edit, and modify CNC programs.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and part drawings.
• Good knowledge of machining processes, materials, and machining specifications.
• Experience working with aluminium alloys and precision components is preferred.
• Skilled in using vernier calipers and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to select and use appropriate cutting tools.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• Candidates must be technically competent and capable of working independently.
