TET LEE PRECISION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer / CNC Team Lead to drive programming, setup, and process improvements for high-precision semiconductor components.

You will develop programs with MasterCAM and GibbsCAM, set up FANUC ROBODRILL machines, and mentor a production team in a fast-paced shop environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, tool design, fixture planning, and strict adherence to quality standards, with opportunities for career growth into leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC milling programming experience using MasterCAM or GibbsCAM.
• Strong hands-on experience in CNC machine setup and machining operations.
• Experience in precision machining for semiconductor components, including jig and fixture design.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CNC programs using MasterCAM/GibbsCAM based on drawings and specs.
• Program, set up and operate FANUC ROBODRILL milling machines, including tooling and fixtures.
• Prepare setup sheets and work instructions for machinists.
• Conduct first article machining and support production to ensure quality and productivity.
• Interpret drawings to ensure parts meet tolerances and finishes.
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments during and after machining.
• Analyze machining processes to reduce cycle times, optimize costs, and maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize CNC programs to improve productivity.
• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules with Engineering, Production and QA teams.
• Mentor and train junior machinists and programmers.
• Maintain machines and uphold 5S standards.

Job Description

• Interpret technical drawings to ensure machined parts meet required tolerances and surface finishes.
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments during and after machining.
• Analyze machining processes to reduce cycle times, optimize costs, and maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimise CNC programs to improve productivity and minimise downtime.
• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules with Engineering, Production and QA teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor and train junior machinists and programmers.
• Maintain machines and adhere to 5S workplace standards.

Job Requirements

• Certificate, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Precision Machining, Mechanical/Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC milling programming experience using MasterCAM or GibbsCAM.
• Strong hands-on experience in CNC machine setup, machining operations and FANUC ROBODRILL milling machines.
• Experience in precision machining for semiconductor components, including jig & fixture design.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Familiar with quality inspection and the use of precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers and height gauges).
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, and leading or supervising a machining team will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, hands-on, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
