Job summary

GNA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on equipment inside a cleanroom at Woodlands Micron Fab 10. You will work 12-hour rotating shifts, collaborate with engineers, and support training.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, vendor communications, and adherence to safety and quality standards. AWS bonuses are awarded after 12-month contracts; shift allowances and medical claim coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, or Engineering related field.
• Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night).

• Perform scheduled equipment preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure operational reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform corrective maintenance including calibration and parts replacement.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, peer specialists, and external vendors to resolve technical problems.
• Provide advanced training to less experienced colleagues to enhance team capabilities.
• Complete other ad-hoc duties as assigned, with overtime pay.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, or Engineering related field.
• Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills applied to problem-solving in technical maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to support teamwork and training.
• Willingness to learn and maintain a positive working attitude.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating day and night shifts every 2-3 months.
