Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive, and scalable web applications and reusable UI components. The role is contract-based with working hours Mon-Fri and location in the Central area, offering a salary package up to SGD 6,500 basic plus AWS.

Responsibilities include translating UI/UX designs, building high-quality frontend code, improving performance and security, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong hands-on with Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with React or Angular is advantageous.
• Knowledge of WCAG and accessible design.
• Familiarity with Storybook, CI/CD, AWS and security tools such as SonarQube or Fortify.
• Ability to translate UI/UX designs into frontend implementations.
• Government project experience and DSS familiarity advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive frontend components.
• Translate user stories and designs into technical solutions.
• Build web applications using Vue.js, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Improve frontend performance, usability and maintainability.
• Implement frontend security best practices and remediation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment and cloud environments.
• Document technical designs and reusable components.
