Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Vice President in Singapore to lead the AEJ Third Party Risk Management team, establishing governance and oversight across all vendor relationships while aligning with global risk frameworks.

You will drive end-to-end vendor risk management, implement due diligence and monitoring programs, and collaborate with Legal, Compliance and BCM to ensure regulatory adherence and resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Banking, with vendor risk management or operational risk exposure.
• 5+ years of people management experience in relevant teams.
• Proven experience with regulatory requirements related to outsourcing and vendor management.
• Experience with risk management systems, data analytics, and process automation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AEJ TPRM team, ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across vendor relationships.
• Oversee end-to-end vendor lifecycle management from onboarding to termination.
• Design and implement comprehensive due diligence frameworks for vendor assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Establish and maintain vendor risk rating methodologies and concentration risk management protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance program effectiveness and operational efficiency; familiarity with ServiceNow TPRM module is a plus.
