Job summary

GIC Private Limited in Singapore is seeking an AVP/VP SIEM & Datalake Engineer to design and optimise enterprise observability and reliability across infra and applications. You will drive proactive alerting, automation, and resilience using Splunk and related tools in a global 24x7 context.

You will lead governance of telemetry data, integrate SIEM with ITSM/AIOps, and collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Security to meet regulatory and risk requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or SRE roles, with 5+ years in SIEM/Lakewatch.
• Strong knowledge of Splunk, EL/Elastic, and data lake platforms.
• Automation and IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python.
• Familiarity with financial sector regulatory resilience and incident governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy SIEM/DataLake for full-stack visibility across infrastructure, apps, networks, and user experience.
• Define telemetry data governance standards and ensure retention, security, and consistency.
• Integrate SIEM with ITSM and AIOps for predictive alerting and automated responses.
• Lead reliability engineering efforts, runbooks, and self-healing workflows.
• Collaborate across Cloud, DevOps, Security to align telemetry with compliance and risk requirements.
• Develop executive dashboards showing availability, reliability KPIs, and risk indicators.
• Provide incident leadership during major events and post-incident reviews.
