Job summary

SGX Group in Singapore seeks a Senior Vice President/VP (Information Security) to lead threat detection engineering. You will design and tune detections across SIEM, EDR, NDR and cloud platforms, turning threat intelligence into practical content while collaborating with SOC and IT teams.

The role requires deep technical risk-focused experience, an engineering mindset, and the ability to drive rapid incident response and security improvements for the organisation.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years on security platforms.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of policy, risk management and MAS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and tune detection rules across SIEM/EDR/NDR.
• Translate threat intel into actionable detections and rules.
• Collaborate with SOC, IR, Threat Intelligence and IT teams.
