Job summary

DBS is seeking an AVP Cyber Security Engineer to lead SIEM/UEBA initiatives in Singapore. You will serve as SME for SIEM/UEBA platforms, design and maintain monitoring use cases, and collaborate with SOC, Infrastructure, Cloud, and App teams to strengthen security visibility.

You will onboard and validate logs from diverse sources, tune detection content, and drive automation to enhance detection fidelity and reduce false positives. Prior experience with cloud security monitoring is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience implementing or administering enterprise SIEM/UEBA platforms.
• Strong understanding of SIEM architecture, log management, event correlation, security analytics, and UEBA concepts.
• Experience with data source onboarding, log lifecycle management, and data quality validation.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and security monitoring best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for SIEM and UEBA platforms ensuring high availability and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain monitoring use cases, correlation rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Onboard, normalize, enrich, and QA logs from endpoints, servers, apps, network devices, identity platforms, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with SOC, Cyber Defense, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to broaden monitoring coverage.
• Tune SIEM/UEBA rules to improve fidelity and reduce false positives.
• Lead SIEM/UEBA initiatives including upgrades, automation, and service improvements.
