Job summary

United Overseas Bank is seeking a Senior Global Markets Sales professional to manage and grow relationships with Singapore corporate clients, providing treasury and risk management insights across FX, interest rates and commodities.

You will originate and execute Global Markets solutions, promote electronic trading platforms and digital channels, and collaborate with Corporate Banking, Trading and other stakeholders to deliver integrated client solutions while achieving revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Global Markets Sales or related client-facing experience.
• Experience with Singapore-based large corporates, MNCs and RTCs.
• Strong knowledge of FX, interest rates and commodity products.
• Experience with vanilla and fast-flow FX products.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and revenue generation.

Job Description

The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with Singapore Corporate Banking clients, serving as a trusted advisor on treasury and risk management matters.
• Originate, market and execute Global Markets solutions across FX, Interest Rates and Commodities to address clients' hedging, yield enhancement and risk management requirements.
• Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to increase wallet share and transaction volumes across the Global Markets product suite.
• Promote and increase client adoption of electronic trading platforms and digital execution channels to enhance client experience, operational efficiency and transaction volumes.
• Monitor market developments and macroeconomic trends, translating insights into actionable ideas and solutions for clients.
• Partner closely with Corporate Banking, Trading and other stakeholders to deliver integrated client solutions and maximise cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable internal policies, regulatory requirements and market conduct standards, including requirements relating to OTC derivatives and treasury products.
• Achieve individual and team revenue targets while contributing to the overall growth of the Global Markets franchise.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Global Markets Sales, Corporate Treasury Advisory, or a similar client-facing role.
• Experience covering Singapore-based large corporates, multinational corporations (MNCs) and regional treasury centres (RTCs), with a strong understanding of their treasury, funding and risk management requirements.
• Strong knowledge of FX, Interest Rates and Commodity products, including their application in yield enhancement, corporate hedging and risk management.
• Experience in both vanilla and fast-flow FX products, with the ability to originate, manage and grow FX transaction volumes.
• Demonstrated success in driving client adoption of electronic trading platforms and digital execution solutions across FX and treasury products.
• Proven track record in client relationship management, revenue generation and business development.
• Ability to engage senior treasury professionals and key corporate stakeholders to deliver practical and value-added hedging solutions.
• Self-motivated team player with high standards of professionalism, integrity and client focus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
