Job summary

SMBC Group in Singapore seeks a senior professional to drive regional trade business growth and client engagement across APAC. You will manage trade product activities, structure risk-aware solutions, and remove obstacles to deepen wallet share while promoting accountability.

You will collaborate with coverage, sales, product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and legal teams to deliver an outstanding client experience and a differentiating journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in banking, financial institutions or corporates’ procurement center.
• Thorough knowledge of trade finance products, documentation and middle office trade management.
• Good understanding of front, credit, legal, compliance and back-office processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional trade business growth and client engagement across APAC.
• Collaborate with coverage, sales, product, technology, operations, risk and legal to deliver client experience.
• Maintain robust governance, identify portfolio triggers, and uphold compliance.
