Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an experienced security professional to design and execute offensive security assessments, including Purple Team engagements and adversary emulation, with a focus on validated controls and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes using enterprise AI capabilities to synthesize test evidence, draft executive reports, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive data‑driven risk decisions and continuous improvement in security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience designing, coordinating offensive security assessments and simulation exercises.
• Experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to support assessment workflows with strong validation and data handling.
• Ability to review and validate AI‑assisted findings and remediation recommendations before use.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute offensive security–led testing and simulation activities (Purple Team engagements, adversary emulation).
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate synthesis of test evidence and draft executive-ready assessment reporting.
• Evaluate controls for effectiveness and automation opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive assessment reports with findings, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and remediation recommendations.
• Stay informed on threats and regulations to enhance assessment strategy and risk management.
• Drive reuse‑first adoption of AI-assisted workflows for control evaluation and reporting automation.
• Perform hands‑on offensive security activities as part of Purple Team engagements in partnership with the SOC.
