Job summary

Nomura Loan Operations in Singapore leads support for Asia Ex-Japan Securitized Products & Private Credit, acting as the face-off between the Trading Desk and stakeholders to ensure accurate risk capture and governance. The role focuses on end-to-end lifecycle management, controls, and strategic change initiatives.

The candidate will oversee life cycle events, monitor activity, validate documentation, and provide cross-product trade support.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years experience supporting loan products.
Working knowledge of trade documentation for private credit (LMA/APLMA).
Experience in syndicated loans, bilateral lending, agency servicing and loan products.
Prior experience with Loan IQ.
Strong stakeholder communication and ability to challenge appropriately.
High attention to detail with strong numerical skills and risk management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with ownership.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end life cycle events and controls for loan transactions.
Monitor portfolio activity, pipeline and volume to assess capacity.
Validate deal documentation and correct system/product setup to capture risks accurately.
Provide trade support for other products traded by the Loans desk.
Maintain strong operational controls to ensure compliance with policies and audit standards.
Lead root cause analysis and implement action plans to improve controls/productivity.
Review and present risk updates to senior management with action plans.
