Job summary

Bank of Singapore, part of OCBC Group, seeks an Institutional Specialist to lead a team in delivering proactive investment advisory and solutions to FIM partners. You will articulate market views, identify opportunities, and tailor solutions across equities, FX, and structured products.

You will also drive engagement with partners and ensure seamless trade execution, while promoting our platform. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in banking, a quantitative degree, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of banking experience in products or client engagement.
• Background in structured product sales, FX sales, equity derivatives, structuring, or prime brokerage; investment advisory background may apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably quantitative.
• CFA qualifications or equivalent is not a necessity, but an added plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead select analysts in providing daily proactive investment advisory & solutions to FIM partners.
• Articulate views on markets and investments; synthesize information for our FIM partners.
• Identify commercial opportunities with FIM partners; highlight thematic ideas and customized solutions.
• Ensure seamless execution of trades & investments for FIM coverage.
• Actively market our coverage platform to new prospective FIMs.
• Be creative and commercially astute in generating new ideas & solutions to grow the FIM business.
• Be aware of and compliant with the Bank’s processes, policies and procedures.
