Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd seeks an Analytics professional to develop AI, data analytics, and automation solutions supporting trading desks for better trade idea generation, faster and more accurate trade executions, more efficient trade monitoring and trade review, and effective report generation.

The role involves training predictive models, data ingestion and visualization, and collaboration with trading, sales, and COO teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in analytics or related field.
• 2–5 years in data/analytics roles with financial knowledge.
• Ability to handle data extraction, processing and analyses.
• Understanding of AI models and practical implementation.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Model Development: train and implement ML models for trading and sales initiatives; leverage Python, Spark, SQL, Tableau.
• Data Initiatives and Analyses: perform exploratory data analysis and create analytics assets; build ingestion pipelines; ensure data quality.
• Staying Updated in Data Science: evaluate new approaches and tools; promote data-driven culture.
• Others: lead, grow and mentor junior team members; break down problems into milestones for team delivery.
