Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks a Cryptographic Key Management Operations Engineer in Singapore to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of encryption keys across cloud, on‑prem, and IoT environments.

You will ensure secure key generation, distribution, rotation, and retirement while maintaining regulatory compliance and enterprise security policies. Collaboration with cybersecurity, cloud, and DevSecOps teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cryptographic operations or key management in financial/regulatory environments.
• Strong knowledge of PKI, certificate management, and HSMs.
• Hands-on with enterprise KMS solutions (AWS/Azure/OCI/Fortanix).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, FIPS 140-3, NIST, ISO 27001 requirements.
• Experience with Python, Terraform, and IaC tools.
• Knowledge of security operations tools (SIEM) and monitoring.
• Security certifications such as CISSP/CISM pref.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and security of enterprise cryptographic key management services across cloud, on-prem, and IoT.
• Manage full cryptographic key lifecycle: generation, storage, distribution, rotation, revocation, retirement.
• Monitor and respond to key management incidents and policy violations.
• Maintain availability, integrity, and security of key management infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams to integrate services into enterprise apps.
• Automate key management processes via APIs, KMS, and IaC.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and technical docs.
• Produce compliance and risk reporting related to key usage and lifecycle.
• Stay current with post-quantum cryptography and regulatory requirements.
