Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced System Analyst to translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications within a banking context. You will collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, secure technology solutions, drive process improvements, and coordinate testing and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 7–10 years in banking systems with excellent communication, and the ability to lead lite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance & Banking.
• 7–10 years in System Analyst role or similar.
• Experience in Banking with Digital Channels exposure.
• IT banking systems experience required.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiar with business process re-engineering and solution design.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage lite projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specs.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on scalable, secure tech solutions.
• Liaise between business, development, and testing teams.
• Drive process re-engineering and target operating models.
• Prepare and review design documents, APIs, and UML models.
• Support PMO with resource estimation, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT to ensure test coverage.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and solution optimization.
• Provide Level 2 functional support with Dev and Infra.
• Ensure governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
