Job summary

Maersk Tankers in Singapore is seeking a Voyage Manager to oversee seamless vessel operations and optimize voyage profitability across voyages. You will work closely with our chartering team and global operations, reporting to the Head of Operations in Singapore.

The role emphasises proactive communication with charterers and shipowners to resolve issues and keep customers satisfied. Applicants should understand tanker operations management, voyage planning, and allied regulatory requirements;

Qualifications

• Understanding of tanker operations management within CPP/DPP segments
• Voyage management focusing on profitability and forward planning
• Experience with voyage management systems (IMOS) preferred

In our Singapore Operations team, you will join a team of talented and welcoming colleagues.

You will beworking out of our Singapore office cooperating closely with our charteringteam here, operating product tankers while also interacting with the global operationsteam daily.

You will reportto our Head of Operations in Singapore and be responsible for seamless vessel operationand optimizing profit on voyages. Additionally, it is imperative that you keeppositive and proactive communication with charterers, shipowners and other keystakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and issues are resolved timely andsmoothly.

• Good knowledge of tanker industry requirements including voyage charter terms, bills of lading, vessel acceptability basis SIRE, regional industry standards
• Voyage management skills with a focus on optimization of the bottom line and forward planning of bunkers and services
• Voyage management system experience preferred (we use IMOS)

Inaddition, you have experience with multiple tanker segments, including tankcleaning procedures and other onboard ship management practices – and relevantsailing experience is of course welcome.
