Job summary

Maersk Tankers in Singapore seeks an experienced Voyage Manager to ensure seamless vessel operations and optimize voyage profitability. You will work closely with the chartering team, shipowners and the global operations network to deliver reliable and efficient voyages from our Singapore office.

The role requires a practical understanding of CPP/DPP segments, knowledge of voyage charter terms, bills of lading, and SIRE standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tanker operations and voyage management required.
• Experience with voyage charter terms and bills of lading preferred.
• Experience across multiple tanker segments; sailing experience welcomed.

• Oversee seamless vessel operation and voyage execution from Singapore.

In our Singapore operations team, you will join a team of talented and welcoming colleagues.

You will be working out of our Singapore office cooperating closely with our chartering team here, operating product tankers while also interacting with the global operations team daily.

You will report to our Head of Operations in Singapore and be responsible for seamless vessel operation and optimizing profit on voyages. Additionally, it is imperative that you keep positive and proactive communication with charterers, shipowners and other key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and issues are resolved timely and smoothly.

• Voyage management skills with a focus on optimization of the bottom line and forward planning of bunkers and services
• Voyage management system experience preferred (we use IMOS)

In addition, you have experience with multiple tanker segments, including tank cleaning procedures and other onboard ship management practices – and relevant sailing experience is of course welcome.
