Job summary

Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre in Jurong East is seeking an Assistant Executive to support management and delivery of volunteer centre initiatives. You will coordinate SG Cares programme-funded initiatives and work with volunteers and community partners to achieve KPIs.

The role focuses on planning volunteer activities, training resources, and building a motivated volunteer base while ensuring risk, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in social work or its equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in volunteer management, preferably within the community and social service sector.
• Able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and successful execution of volunteer programmes and events.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the management and delivery of SG Cares programme-funded initiatives, ensuring all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners and volunteers, using various engagement platforms
• Assist in the planning and execution of volunteer recognition and engagement activities to foster a positive, motivated volunteer base
• Support in the assessment and planning for the charity's volunteer manpower needs, identifying required skills and competencies
• Ensure volunteers are equipped with the necessary training and resources to fulfil their roles effectively
• Identify and cultivate potential sources of volunteers, managing volunteer enquiries and addressing feedback to ensure a seamless, supportive volunteer experience
• Ensure operational risk, quality assurance, and compliance to maintain the integrity and impact of volunteer-led programmes
• Support in the development and implementation of strategic outreach programmes and activities to recruit new volunteers, raise awareness, and expand the charity's volunteer network
