Job summary

KEA Music Academy is seeking passionate Vocal Teachers to deliver personalised lessons, help students grasp vocal technique and music theory, and prepare them for ABRSM exams, recitals and competitions.

The role offers flexible teaching hours, ongoing learning opportunities, and a chance to contribute to curriculum development within a collaborative studio environment. Suitable for teachers with 2–3 years of experience and a Diploma or Degree in Music or Performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Music / Performance or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of vocal techniques and music theory.
  • Experience teaching young beginners (age 3–6) and adults.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience.
  • English-speaking (multilingual is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vocal lessons for students of various ages and skill levels
  • Develop students’ musical understanding, technique, and confidence
  • Prepare students for graded ABRSM exams, recitals, and competitions
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Maintain a positive, passionate attitude towards teaching
  • Contribute ideas for new programmes and curriculum
  • Participate in discussions with the director and teaching team where needed

Key Responsibilities
