Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Position

As VM Events Manager, you will bring the House's creative vision to life through exceptional visual experiences across the region, delivering high-profile launches, immersive installations, exceptional structures and special VM projects. Bringing together a sophisticated luxury design sensibility and strong technical construction expertise, you will lead VM Events projects from concept to completion, ensuring impeccable execution while balancing brand integrity, quality, timelines and budgets.

Job responsibilities

Regional Multi-Project Management

• Lead the end-to-end fabrication and installation lifecycle of multiple VM event projects, high-end special projects, and brand activations across the region


• Establish rigid project milestones, and guarantee all project builds are completed on time without exception


• Partner closely with the internal logistics teams to coordinate cross-border shipping schedules, customs clearances, and delivery windows for specialized VM props and event structures

Technical Execution & Architecture

• Interpret, audit and approve detailed architectural blueprints, CAD schematics, SketchUp models, and construction drawings provided by agencies and production houses


• Source, program and manage high-tech integrations within visual projects, including but not limited to advanced displays, interactive digital touchpoints, smart lighting


• Conduct microscopic quality audits during overnight build-ins


• Ensure millwork, alignment, materials and finishing meet the House's standards

Budget Management

• Oversee the regional VM event project expenditure and ensure strict cost control and financial tracking


• Partner with production agencies to optimize fabrication methods, to reduce costs without compromising the visual weight, look, or texture of premium materials


• Audit line-item production costs to secure competitive pricing from high-end fabricators


• Run strict commercial bidding processes

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Partner closely with the regional Client Marketing team to align activations with CRM goals and collaborate with the Image VM team to protect brand presentation standards


• Act as the primary regional bridge by aligning closely with Global teams to adapt global creative assets, while guiding local market teams to ensure seamless on-the-ground project execution


• Build, manage and continuously audit a vetted network of premium local and regional production vendors and contractors

Profile

• Minimum 8 years of work experience within the luxury retail industry, managing VM event projects, temporary luxury structures or pop-up activations


• Mandatory ability to read and critique technical design files (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2D/3D drawings) and deep knowledge of luxury finishes, construction materials, and retail technology


• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects under tight deadlines


• Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for high-end luxury finishing, styling, and structural execution


• Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships across Global HQ, internal logistics partners, regional matrix teams (Client Marketing, Image VM), and local market stakeholders


• Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across the South Asia region, often working outside standard office hours during overnight project installations
