Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior / Vision Solution Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize machine vision systems for inspection, measurement, and defect detection in manufacturing environments.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to configure vision systems and provide technical support. This role requires hands-on experience with vision components and software, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate requirements into robust vision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in vision applications.
• Knowledge of machine vision and optical inspection systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications for measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and other applications.
• Select, procure, install, and maintain vision components such as PCs, cameras, lighting, and related equipment.
• Configure vision systems including cameras, frame grabbers, illumination, motion control, host PCs, and interfaces.
• Develop and troubleshoot vision applications using HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate vision system performance and prepare technical documentation and training materials.
• Research and implement new vision technologies for relevant projects.
