Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior/Vision Solution Engineer to develop and maintain vision applications, including measurement, defect inspection, and component presence detection, at our Woodlands site.

You will configure vision systems, select components, and provide technical support to field service engineers and customers, while exploring new vision technologies for relevant projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 2 years in vision applications.
• Knowledge of vision and optical inspection systems is preferred.
• Experience in programming languages related to vision applications (C++, C#, Python).
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces.
• Knowledge of deep learning-based vision solutions is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications such as measurement, defect inspection, and component presence detection.
• Decide on selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision components (PCs, cameras, lighting) based on needs.
• Configure vision systems (host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, interfaces) for optimal performance.

Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Job Description

• Develop, analyze, and maintain various vision applications, including measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and more.
• Make decisions on the selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision-related components such as PCs, cameras, and lighting based on application requirements.
• Configure vision systems, including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and interfaces, to achieve optimal system performance.
• Possess hands‑on experience with vision software libraries/frameworks such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications, as well as prepare technical documentation and conduct training.
• Explore new vision technologies and implement them in relevant projects.

Requirements
