Job summary

Apple is seeking a skilled Language Expert to localize software and related content into Vietnamese. You will translate UI, verify localization with internal tools, and ensure terminology consistency across Apple products for the Vietnamese market.

This role collaborates with engineering, QA, and other localization teams to deliver high-quality translations under tight timelines. Strong Vietnamese language mastery and experience with CAT tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation, Culture & Literature or equivalent.
• Native or accredited fluency in Vietnamese.
• Fluent in English to translate between English and Vietnamese.
• Experience with CAT tools and translation of UI for high-end software products.
• Excellent writing skills and cross-cultural communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate Apple products into Vietnamese.
• Use internal tools to identify localization impact.
• Monitor, report and resolve bugs related to localization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep localization on schedule.
• Maintain terminology consistency with style guides and glossaries.
• Support quick-turnaround translations when needed.
• Identify tools and process improvements for localization workflows.
• Use unreleased software to verify localization.
• Contribute to localization-related QA activities.
