Job summary

Centific Global Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Video Annotator for a government project based at One North, Singapore. The 6-month contract involves reviewing, labeling, and editing captions on video content to support AI/ML model training, with a mandatory background check in onboarding.

Responsibilities include frame-by-frame annotation, applying labels, time-syncing captions, and QA feedback integration.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma qualification in any discipline.
Experience in data annotation, captioning, subtitling, content moderation, or related roles advantageous but not required.
Comfortable using annotation and captioning tools.
Strong attention to detail in English spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Able to follow structured guidelines, workflows and QA processes.
Good computer literacy and ability to navigate software.
Good written and spoken English.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to learn new tools and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Review and annotate video footage frame-by-frame or by segment according to labelling schemas.
Apply bounding boxes, tracking IDs, event tags, or classification labels to objects/actions.
Edit, correct and time-sync captions with audio/video content for accuracy.
Check captions for spelling, grammar, punctuation and speaker attribution.
Ensure annotations and captions meet project quality benchmarks.
Flag ambiguous or edge-case content for review.
Follow guidelines and update work based on QA feedback.
Maintain productivity targets while ensuring quality.
Attend training sessions on tools and guidelines.
Report progress and issues to Team Lead.
