Job summary

National Library Board (NLB) Singapore invites students to join a hybrid video analytics internship. You will design training datasets, create annotation guidelines, and support the training pipeline for the algorithm with emphasis on quality and reproducibility.

This 6–9 month role offers mentorship and exposure to real-world projects across libraries and archives, with hands-on experience in ML, data processing, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Meticulous in work with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of machine learning and computer vision.
• Familiarity with video analytics or image processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training datasets, annotation guidelines and SOPs for the algorithm's training pipeline.
• Develop user guides and technical reference materials.
• Assist in iterative training and testing of the video analytics algorithm.
• Support regular performance reviews of the algorithm across scenarios.
• Review existing video analytics workflow and propose improvements to the development pipeline.
