Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, enhancement, and support of in-house applications across online and host-to-host platforms within the Treasury, Payments, and Trade domains.
  • Manage both onshore and offshore technology teams responsible for project delivery, application support, and platform modernization.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural direction, with the ability to contribute hands‑on when required to support critical deliveries.
  • Drive the successful execution of business and regulatory initiatives using Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies.

  • Promote engineering excellence, innovation, automation, and the adoption of best practices across the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage technology backlogs, prioritize delivery outcomes, and assess solution feasibility, effort, and timelines.
  • Ensure high levels of application availability, production stability, operational resilience, and risk remediation.
  • Lead technology lifecycle management activities, including infrastructure upgrades, application modernization, vulnerability remediation, and platform migrations.
  • Articulate the business and technical value of solutions to senior management, governance forums, and technical stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and engineering productivity initiative.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President, Technology Development Lead to join our Southeast Asia Technology organization, based in Singapore. This leadership role is responsible for managing a portfolio of business-critical applications supporting Treasury, Payments, Trade, and Transaction Banking services across APAC. The successful candidate will lead technology delivery, application development, operational stability, regulatory initiatives, modernization programs, and risk reduction efforts while managing geographically distributed teams.
