Job summary

HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Vice-President, Modeling (Actuarial) to lead actuarial model development and ensure alignment with risk controls. You will provide modelling support and SME input to actuarial teams across the business.

You will drive efficiencies, coach junior colleagues and help govern documentation, monitoring and risk management while collaborating with data, finance and risk functions in a dynamic, global bank environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with membership of a recognised actuarial examination body.
• Strong relevant actuarial experience, preferably including hands-on modelling and stochastic valuation.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with sound actuarial judgement.
• Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and prioritise competing demands.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VicePresident, Modeling (Actuarial).

In this role you will:

• Coach and guide junior colleagues, supporting their technical development and knowledge sharing.

To be successful you will need:

• Qualified actuary with membership of a recognised actuarial examination body.
• Strong relevant actuarial experience, preferably including hands-on experience in actuarial modelling and stochastic valuation.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound actuarial judgement.
