Job summary

HSBC Life Singapore is seeking an actuary to lead modelling initiatives for insurance products and associated risk assessments. The role focuses on building robust actuarial models, supporting teams with modelling expertise, and ensuring governance and compliance across modelling activities.

The candidate will bring hands-on modelling experience, strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified / close-to-qualify actuary with membership of a recognised actuarial examination body.
• Strong relevant actuarial experience, preferably including hands-on experience in actuarial modelling and stochastic valuation.
• Knowledge in Prophet software is highly preferred.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound actuarial judgement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex actuarial concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities
