Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a seasoned Vice President, Enterprise Data Products, to lead analytics across the APAC franchise. The role connects business stakeholders, tech teams, and data management to enable data-driven decisions that scale across regions.

You will drive multi-year analytics roadmaps, develop scalable data products, and champion governance, self-service analytics, and governance standards to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, statistics, finance, or related field.
• “8–12+ years of enterprise analytics, BI, data transformation, or data management experience.”
• “Proven track record delivering large-scale analytics and data initiatives in banking/regulated industries.”
• “Strong experience managing senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.”

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics strategy and roadmaps aligned to APAC objectives.
• Deliver end-to-end analytics including data sourcing, design, testing, deployment, and value realization.
• Drive self-service analytics adoption and governance across the organization.
• Oversee KPI frameworks, enterprise reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics.
• Mentor analytics teams and ensure delivery best practices across regions.
