Nomura Singapore Limited is seeking an accomplished Programme Manager within the SABRE (Strategic, Analytics, and Business Re-engineering) group to lead end-to-end transformation in Operations. You will drive change initiatives across Global Markets, Wealth Management, and middle-office processes, coordinating with technology, risk, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of Project Manager experience running change the bank projects for Operations.
  • Proven experience in Banking operations, including Wealth Management activities and Middle Office functions.
  • Demonstrated business analysis skills including requirements elicitation, process modelling, gap analysis, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and UAT coordination.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects across a range of Operations initiatives, working with related participants (Global Markets, International Wealth Management, Transformation Office, Technology, Operations).
  • Apply advanced business analysis techniques and deep domain knowledge in Operations to drive transformation initiatives.
  • Drive the execution of process changes and ensure proper impact assessment, change management and service integration.

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate business analysis processes, including requirements generation, documentation, user story creation, and test scenario development.
  • Establish governance frameworks, metrics, and controls to manage programs effectively, including risk and issue management with proactive corrective measures.
  • Lead agile delivery through JIRA, Confluence, and other tools, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.

The Operations division provides the support and control infrastructure that enables the Firm to develop and deliver financial products throughout the world. Working with the Sales, Trading and Information Technology Divisions, Operations professionals are responsible for the management and execution of transactions in a manner which maximizes profitability and minimizes risk. Our division is responsible for the management and execution of millions of securities transactions on a daily basis. Our responsibilities include trade processing, confirmation, settlement, fails management, margin, asset servicing, risk management, reference data management and various other client services. In partnership with sales, trading, prime services, information technology and other teams from across the bank, we apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients' changing needs.

Business Overview:

Strategic, Analytics, and Business Re-engineering (SABRE) aims to align our capabilities to deliver end-to-end solutions that create tangible value for the business. The Business Analysis and Transformation Service within SABRE focuses on driving small and large transformation objectives from ideation to delivery for Operations acting in as Business Analyst, Project Manager and Program manager.

Lead business analysis, transformation initiatives across Operations, driving strategic change programs while managing a high-performing team of business analysts. This role combines deep business analysis expertise with project management capabilities to deliver end-to-end solutions across complex collateral management and middle office processes within the global investment banking environment.

Role Description:
  • Lead projects across a range of Operations initiatives, working with related participants (Global Markets business, International Wealth Management business, Transformation Office, Technology, Operations etc)
  • Apply advanced business analysis techniques and deep domain knowledge in Operations processes - in particular within our Wealth Management team, to drive transformation initiatives
  • Drive the execution of process changes and ensure proper impact assessment, change management & service integration.
  • Understand, document, and validate complex business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear, actionable specifications for technology and operations teams
  • Analyse current end-to-end operations process flows, producing comprehensive documentation including current state assessments, gap analysis, and future state designs
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design and document strategic system/process flows, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical solutions
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate business analysis processes, including requirements generation, documentation, user story creation, and test scenario development, driving significant efficiency gains across the team
  • Establish governance frameworks, metrics, and controls to manage programs effectively, including risk and issue management with proactive corrective measures
  • Lead agile delivery through JIRA, Confluence, and other tools, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement
  • Drive project proposal development by leveraging relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
  • Provide strategic input into engagement decisions including work planning, timeline management, resource allocation, and team career development
  • Develop comprehensive program strategies encompassing stakeholder assessment, leadership alignment, organizational transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training
  • Track and coordinate BoW related issues, improvements and actions till closure.
  • Champion the adoption of emerging AI technologies within the team to enhance analytical capabilities, reduce manual effort, and improve delivery quality
Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:
Domain
  • Minimum 8 years of Project Manager experience running successful change the bank projects for Operations

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with proven experience in conflict management and issue resolution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, evaluate, and apply AI tools (such as generative AI, process mining, intelligent automation) to streamline business analysis workflows, accelerate documentation, and enhance requirements quality
  • Understanding of business performance metrics (cost efficiency, productivity, operational risk).
Technical
  • Strong proficiency in executive storytelling, PowerPoint, and data visualization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies with hands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and other agile project management tools throughout the full delivery lifecycle
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and executive narrative design principles.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) or Business Analysis is a plus.
