Advanced VetCare Veterinary Centre in Bedok East invites a compassionate Veterinary Patient Care Assistant to join our team. This full-time role supports veterinarians and nurses, handles animals during examinations, keeps the clinic clean, and helps with client scheduling and administration.

You will work in a modern clinic dedicated to high standards of animal welfare, with ongoing training opportunities and a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Formación

• Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Ability to stay calm and patient when handling animals.

Responsabilidades

• Assist veterinarians and nurses with examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Restrain and handle animals calmly during consultations and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and restock supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, greet patients, schedule appointments.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and filing.

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Patient Care Assistant to join our team at the Advanced VetCare Veterinary Centre in the Bedok East Region. This full-time role will involve supporting our veterinary professionals in providing exceptional care and services to our patients and their owners.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting veterinarians and veterinary nurses with examinations, treatments and procedures
• Handling and restraining animals during consultations and procedures in a calm and gentle manner
• Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment, including restocking supplies
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients, including greeting patients and their owners, scheduling appointments and addressing any queries or concerns
• Performing administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
• Ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity at all times

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working in a veterinary or animal care setting, either in a clinical or customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with both clients and the veterinary team
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and protocols with precision
• Adaptability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high‑quality care
• A team‑oriented approach and the willingness to learn and grow in the role
