Job summary

GovTech is seeking a veterinary professional to join the Marine Aquaculture Centre (MAC) to implement fish health protocols and improve health management. The role includes overseeing compliance, enhancing diagnostic capabilities, and coordinating with labs for sample analysis.

The candidate should have a veterinary degree with aquatic health specialization, experience in aquaculture, and strong communication skills. Weekend and after-hours work may be required, based on MAC operations.

• Familiar with the Guidelines on the Care and Use of Animals for Scientific Purposes (NACLAR).

[What the role is]Successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team to implement fish health protocols at the Marine Aquaculture Centre (MAC) and refine culture techniques and animal husbandry practices to improve overall fish health management.[What you will be working on]Implement and oversee compliance of existing procedures and protocols regarding fish health and biosecurity at MAC e.g. monitoring, reporting and corrective actions (if necessary).Improve fish disease diagnostic capability at MAC.
