Job summary

Hai Soon Ship Management Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a licensed Port Limit Steersman to operate vessels, ensure passenger and goods transfers to designated locations, and uphold safety guidelines and regulatory compliance with MPA.

You must hold a valid Manning License (MPA Port Limit Steersman), be willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays, and be physically fit to maintain the vessel’s condition and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Manning License from MPA (Port Limit Steersman) required.
• Willing to work overtime, on weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit to perform vessel duties and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operations of the vessel and safety guidelines.
• To ferry the Company’s authorised passengers to and from the Company’s designated locations.
• To deliver the Company’s authorised goods / supplies to and from the Company’s designated locations.
• Maintain and upkeep the condition of the vessel, to ensure its cleanliness and safe working environment.
• Liaise with Management and Client of any issues or incidents to minimize down time and unnecessary delays.
• Comply with all MPA and statutory regulations at all times.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Company from time to time.
