Job summary

Berge Bulk is seeking a Vessel Performance Manager based in Singapore to monitor and improve energy performance across vessels and fleets. You will use noon and high-frequency data to identify inefficiencies, reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and support regulatory compliance while ensuring safe operations.

You will work with Vessel Managers, crew and commercial teams to translate analyses into practical improvements and maintain robust data-validation and reporting practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, naval architecture or related technical discipline.
• 2nd engineer qualification and sea experience at that level.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vessel and fleet performance using noon and high-frequency data.
• Conduct vessel-level performance investigations and identify hull, propeller, machinery and operational causes.
• Analyze performance of main engines, auxiliary engines, boilers and supporting systems.
• Support environmental compliance activities including CII analysis, SEEMP, EEXI and regulatory reporting.
• Produce vessel and fleet-performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate improvement actions with Vessel Managers, ship staff and internal teams.
