Job summary

Anglo-Eastern Ship Management in Singapore is seeking an Accounts professional to handle the full set of vessel accounts, including accruals, portage, OPEX reporting, and related matters.

You will generate financial reports, respond to owners’ queries, prepare working fund requests, and manage a portfolio of at least eight vessels, with a degree in accounting and at least one year of experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and vessel accounting experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business Faculty.
• Minimum 1 year of full set of accounts experience; vessel accounting is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of vessel accounts, including PO accruals, portage bill, OPEX reporting and related accounting matters.
• Generate financial reports and ensure timely submission in accordance with owners’ requirements.
• Respond to vessel owners’ queries and follow up on accounting matters where required.
• Prepare working fund requests and perform calculations for deficit/surplus working fund.
• Complete vessel accounts in compliance with owners’ requirements and within the required timeline.
• Independently manage a portfolio of at least eight vessels.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
