Job summary

AICONIC Ventures is a US$200M+ early-stage venture capital fund investing from seed to Series B in AI, semiconductors, robotics and deep tech. Our Singapore team seeks a Venture Capital Associate to support deal execution, portfolio management and global investment activities.

You will screen and model deals, perform market and technology research, and build relationships with founders, investors and industry experts, including regular interactions at tech events in Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
• 2–4 years of experience in a technology company, startup, AI/deep tech research, venture capital, investment banking or consulting.
• Demonstrated interest in deep tech, AI, and semiconductor technologies.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Nice to have: Basic understanding of term sheets and deal structures.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full investment process, including deal screening, due diligence, financial modelling, and investment presentation.
• Conduct comprehensive market and technology research, as well as competitive analysis in target sectors.
• Identify emerging trends and technologies within AI, semiconductor, robotics and deep tech spaces.
• Develop and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and industry experts.
• Represent AICONIC VENTURES at tech events and conferences in Asia.

With a presence in Silicon Valley and Singapore, we back founders building foundational technology, from photonics, workload-specific chips, power management, and liquid cooling for AI data centers to agentic AI and scientific foundation models. Role Overview

We are seeking a Venture Capital Associate to join our Singapore team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in deal execution, portfolio management, and supporting the firm’s investment activities globally.

Key Responsibilities
