• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and PPE requirements.
• Minimise food wastage and report damaged items.
• Assist with receiving and arranging vegetable supplies.

Position: Vegetable Processing Worker

Desh Catering Service Pte Ltd is looking for hardworking and responsible workers to join our food production team in Singapore.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and sort fresh vegetables.
• Peel potatoes, onions, carrots, garlic, ginger and other vegetables.
• Cut, slice and chop vegetables according to daily production requirements.
• Operate vegetable cutting/processing machines safely.
• Weigh and portion vegetables for kitchen production.
• Prepare vegetables and ingredients for the next day's cooking.
• Properly store prepared vegetables and follow FIFO/FEFO procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vegetable processing area, equipment and utensils.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and PPE requirements.
• Minimise food wastage and report damaged or spoiled products.
• Assist with receiving and arranging vegetable supplies.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Experience in food processing, central kitchen or vegetable preparation will be an advantage.
