Job summary

DESH CATERING SERVICE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring a Vegetable Processing Worker to wash, peel, cut and portion vegetables for daily production. You will operate processing machines safely, maintain cleanliness and follow FIFO/FEFO and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Ability to follow daily instructions and SOPs.
• Team player with good hygiene and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and sort fresh vegetables.
• Peel and cut vegetables according to production needs.
• Operate vegetable cutting/processing machines safely.
• Weigh and portion vegetables for kitchen production.
• Prepare ingredients for the next day’s cooking.
• Store prepared vegetables and follow FIFO/FEFO.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and PPE requirements.
• Minimise food wastage and report damaged items.
• Assist with receiving and arranging vegetable supplies.
