ORIENTAL FOOD & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a production operator to join our food manufacturing line. You will operate and set up machinery, monitor performance, and perform product assembly, feeding materials, and packaging with strict adherence to procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to work well in a team. Physical stamina and safety compliance are essential in a fast-paced environment with on-site work at 15 Jalan Tepong, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Set up machinery and perform adjustments to ensure proper operation and product quality.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Perform production tasks such as assembling components, feeding materials into machines, and packaging finished products.
• Follow standardized work instructions and operating procedures.
• Inspect products for defects or deviations from specifications and take corrective actions.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the production process.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products and report quality issues to supervisors or QA personnel.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality concerns.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Wear PPE and follow safety guidelines when operating machinery or handling hazardous materials.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to supervisors or safety personnel.
• Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas to prevent contamination.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good working condition.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is preferred but not required.


• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.


• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.


• Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.


• Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.

Working Hours:

• 7am to 5pm (Monday to Friday)
