Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a UX Engineer to define and deliver intuitive user experiences across the AI Cloud Portal, Global Operations Console, and XaaS offerings. You will translate complex AI infrastructure into clear workflows for researchers, engineers, and operators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise or cloud-based UX for developer or operations software.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design and delivery of complex web apps or control planes.
• Ability to translate complex AI platform workflows into intuitive interfaces.
• Experience designing for multiple user personas and permission boundaries.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts like Kubernetes, bare-metal provisioning, and schedulers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX design and front-end experience for the AI Cloud Portal, Global Operations Console, Bare Metal as a Service, Kubernetes as a Service, and future XaaS products.
• Conduct user discovery and workflow analysis with AI researchers, ML engineers, and cloud admins.
• Translate requirements and telemetry into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.
• Design self-service experiences for discovering, provisioning, configuring, and monitoring AI capacity and environments.
• Create patterns that explain proprietary scheduler decisions and cluster health, performance, and cost indicators.
• Shape the Global Operations Console to monitor fleet-level AI-factory operations and incident responses.
• Develop a scalable design system and ensure frontend feasibility, performance, and accessibility.
