Job description

The student, as part of the global Application Engineer team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake projects working on Infineon's UWB solution.

Your Role

• Software Development Support: Support the software development of a demo for a target UWB (Ultra-Wideband) application.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Research, investigate, and resolve a broad range of technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Solution Design: Approach problems analytically and propose practical, high-quality solutions.
• Technology Exploration: Proactively learn and apply new technologies relevant to UWB systems and software development.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Implement international compliance standards to ensure UWB system quality and functionality.
• Integration Testing & Documentation: Verify system integration test results and develop documentation and guideline materials.

Internship Learning Outcomes

• UWB Systems Knowledge: Learn about different UWB systems and applications and how they are implemented in practice.
• Compliance Standards Exposure: Understand relevant international compliance standards and their role in ensuring product quality.
• Development & Integration Practices: Develop strong practices in software development and system integration through hands‑on project work.

Your Profile

• Education Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant Engineering/Science discipline (e.g., Electrical/Electronics, RF Engineering).
• Programming Experience: Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or others; iOS/Android development experience is a plus.
• Working Style & Mindset: Inquisitive, detail‑oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Problem Solving & Ownership: Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving abilities and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Preferred Intake: Jan 27 - May/ June 27
