Job description

The student, as part of the Power Electronics System Application Engineering team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake projects working on Infineon's power semiconductors, reference designs and test systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lab Testing: Test power semiconductor devices, evaluation boards, and systems in a laboratory environment.
• Prototype Construction: Build and assemble prototypes for experimental evaluation and validation.
• Simulation: Utilize various simulation tools to model and compare outcomes with experimental results.
• Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret results obtained from experiments and simulations.

Internship Learning Outcomes

• Laboratory Techniques: Gain hands‑on experience in laboratory testing techniques for power semiconductors and power electronics.
• Simulation Tools: Develop proficiency in using industry‑relevant simulation tools and software.
