User Experience Designers / Business Analyst

What You'll Do

Role Overview

Responsible for gathering and analysing business and user requirements while designing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, end users, designers, and technical teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and practical solution designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and user requirements
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions
• Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
• Develop user personas, user journeys, information architecture, and navigation structures
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Design intuitive and consistent user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Conduct usability reviews and incorporate stakeholder and user feedback into design iterations
• Establish and maintain UI/UX design standards, reusable components, and design guidelines
• Work closely with developers and solution architects to ensure designs are technically feasible and correctly implemented
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of scenarios, clarification of requirements, and issue resolution
• Facilitate requirement clarification and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain requirements traceability and relevant functional/design documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder demonstrations

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in both UI/UX design and business analysis for enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of user-centred design and UX design principles
• Proficiency with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent
• Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, user journeys, process flows, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements
• Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and functional specifications
• Familiarity with business process modelling and requirements traceability
• Familiarity with accessibility and responsive design considerations
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into simple and intuitive user experiences
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Exposure to system modernisation or application revamp projects is preferred
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications or public sector projects
• Experience working in Agile or collaborative delivery environments
